Ryan “Reckords” McClary is a singer, songwriter, music producer, and the proud son of The First Commodore, Thomas McClary.
Born on February 5, 1994 and raised in Orlando, Florida, Ryan is the third of seven siblings who all share an interest in music. He started playing the drums at the age of 3 and picked up the piano and guitar shortly after. By age 8 he was making instrumentals on the Emu Mp-7 drum machine. It was no secret that he had natural talent and love for creating music.
Reckords’ passion for performing all started with his 8th grade talent show. Ryan performed one of the songs he wrote and produced for his father’s album “A Revolution Not a Revival.” With help from his siblings, the performance was a success and the entire school gave them a standing ovation. From there, he and his brothers toured the southeast region under the name “Alluvion” at events such as the Zora Neale Hurston Festival in Eatonville, Florida, the Bobby Jones’ Next Generation television show in Atlanta, Georgia, and other venues in south Florida.
Ryan Reckords is now touring with his father Thomas McClary, and has taken his talents around the country and overseas. While touring the United Kingdom, Reckords released his first single “Spaceship” which is included within Thomas McClary’s live show.
